Responsible Gaming
BigDrago is dedicated to providing a safe, transparent and enjoyable gaming environment. This page explains our player protection framework, the tools available to you and the support organisations that can help if gambling ever becomes a problem.
1.Our Commitment
1.1.Safer Gambling as a Core Value
At BigDrago, responsible gaming is not an afterthought — it is woven into every layer of our platform. We operate on the firm belief that gambling should be an entertaining leisure activity, enjoyed freely and within personal limits. We are committed to providing a gaming environment in which player welfare takes priority over commercial considerations.
1.2.Our Guiding Principles
We uphold the following principles in everything we do:
- Transparency: We clearly communicate rules, odds, terms and the risks associated with gambling.
- Prevention: We actively work to identify and support players who may be at risk of gambling-related harm.
- Player Autonomy: We empower players with robust self-management tools so they remain in control of their gambling activity.
- Child Protection: We apply stringent age verification measures to ensure minors cannot access our platform.
- Collaboration: We work alongside recognised safer gambling organisations and direct players to professional support services where appropriate.
1.3.Scope of This Policy
This Responsible Gaming Policy applies to all registered players at bigdrago.bet and should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, both of which contain additional provisions relevant to player protection and data handling. In the event of any conflict between this policy and those documents, this Responsible Gaming Policy shall take precedence with respect to player welfare matters.
2.Recognising Problem Gambling
2.1.Understanding the Risk
Problem gambling is characterised by a persistent and recurring pattern of gambling behaviour that causes significant distress or harm to the individual, their family or the wider community. It can affect people of any background, age or income level and often develops gradually over time.
2.2.Warning Signs Checklist
Review the statements below honestly. If one or more of them reflects your current gambling experience, we strongly encourage you to use the player protection tools in Section 3 or reach out to one of the support organisations listed in Section 6.
- You spend more money or time gambling than you originally intended, and find it difficult to stop once you have started.
- You gamble with money set aside for essential expenses such as rent, bills, food or debt repayments.
- You feel restless, irritable or anxious when you try to reduce or stop gambling.
- You have lied to family members, friends or colleagues about the extent or frequency of your gambling activity.
- You return to gambling after a loss with the intention of recovering money you have lost (commonly known as "chasing losses").
- Gambling has begun to interfere with your work, studies, relationships or other important responsibilities.
- You rely on borrowing money, selling possessions or taking out credit specifically to fund your gambling.
- You feel a persistent preoccupation with gambling — frequently thinking about past sessions, planning future bets or ways to obtain more funds.
- You have made repeated unsuccessful attempts to control, cut back or stop your gambling.
- You use gambling as a primary way to escape stress, anxiety, depression or other emotional difficulties.
Need help now? If any of the above apply to you, confidential support is available free of charge 24 hours a day. Please refer to Section 6 for contact details of specialist organisations.
3.Player Protection Tools
3.1.Overview
BigDrago provides a range of account-level tools designed to help you manage your gambling activity. These tools are available at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@bigdrago.bet. All limits and restrictions that reduce gambling exposure take effect immediately upon request. Increases to limits are subject to a mandatory review period as described below.
Deposit Limits
Set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Limit reductions are applied immediately. Limit increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period before taking effect.
Loss Limits
Cap the net amount you are prepared to lose over a set time frame (daily, weekly or monthly). Once the limit is reached, further play is suspended for the remainder of the period.
Wager / Stake Limits
Define the maximum amount you can stake per single bet or game round, helping you to maintain control of session expenditure.
Session Time Limits
Restrict the maximum duration of a single gaming session. When the time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and will be logged out automatically.
Reality Checks
Enable periodic in-session notifications that display how long you have been playing and your net win or loss for that session, promoting mindful gambling.
Cooling-Off Period
Take a temporary break from gambling by activating a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week or 1 month. During this period your account is suspended for real-money play.
Self-Exclusion
Request a longer-term self-exclusion of a minimum of 6 months and up to 5 years. Your account will be closed and re-opening will not be permitted until the exclusion period has fully elapsed and an additional reflection period has passed.
GAMSTOP National Self-Exclusion
UK players can register with GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk) to self-exclude from all UK-licensed online gambling operators simultaneously, free of charge.
3.2.How to Activate a Protection Tool
- Log in to your BigDrago account and navigate to My Account → Responsible Gaming.
- Select the tool you wish to activate and follow the on-screen instructions.
- You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address once the change has been applied.
- If you require immediate assistance or wish to request self-exclusion by telephone, contact our support team directly at support@bigdrago.bet.
3.3.Third-Party Blocking Software
In addition to our platform-level tools, we recommend the use of third-party software to block access to all gambling websites at the device level. The following tools are freely available:
- Gamban — device-level blocking software, free via GamCare and NHS gambling clinics. Visit gamban.com
- BetBlocker — a free, non-profit blocking application available for all major devices. Visit betblocker.org
- GamBan browser extensions — additional browser-level controls to supplement device-level blocking.
4.Tips for Responsible Gambling
4.1.Healthy Gambling Habits
Gambling can be an enjoyable recreational activity when approached with awareness and structure. The following guidance is designed to help you keep gambling within safe and sustainable boundaries.
- Set a firm budget before you play and treat any losses as the cost of entertainment, not as a debt to be recovered.
- Only gamble with disposable income — money you can genuinely afford to lose without affecting your financial obligations.
- Treat gambling as leisure, not a source of income. The outcomes of all casino games are determined by random number generators and cannot be predicted or manipulated.
- Take regular breaks. Set a timer or use our Reality Check feature to ensure you step away from the screen at intervals throughout your session.
- Never gamble when you are emotionally distressed, under the influence of alcohol or medication, or when you are fatigued. Decision-making is impaired in these states.
- Keep gambling in perspective. Maintain a healthy balance with other social activities, hobbies and responsibilities.
- Be aware of the mathematics. All games have a built-in house edge. Extended play will, statistically, result in a net loss over time.
- Do not borrow money to gamble under any circumstances.
- Monitor your gaming history regularly via your account statements, available in the Transaction History section of your account.
- Reach out early. If you feel that gambling is becoming harder to control, seek help proactively — before it becomes a crisis.
5.Protection of Minors
5.1.Minimum Age Requirement
Access to and participation in real-money gambling at bigdrago.bet is strictly prohibited for persons under the age of 18 years. This requirement applies to all players regardless of jurisdiction. By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
5.2.Age Verification Procedures
We apply rigorous age and identity verification procedures at the point of registration and again prior to processing any withdrawal. Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a player may be under the age of 18, we reserve the right to suspend the account and request appropriate documentation. Accounts that fail to satisfy age verification requirements will be closed and any funds returned to the depositing payment method, except where applicable law or our Terms & Conditions require otherwise.
5.3.Parental Controls and Device Safety
If you share a computer, tablet or mobile device with minors, we strongly recommend taking the following steps to prevent access to gambling content:
- Always log out of your BigDrago account when you are not actively using the platform and never save your login credentials on shared devices.
- Enable parental control software on shared devices. Free and paid solutions are available through your device's operating system settings or through specialist applications.
- Consider enabling parental control tools offered by your internet service provider to block gambling category websites at the network level.
- Store your BigDrago account credentials — including your username, password and any payment details — securely and away from the reach of children.
- Talk to children and young people in your household about the legal age restriction on gambling and the risks associated with underage gambling.
5.4.Reporting Underage Access
If you become aware or have reason to believe that a minor is accessing or attempting to access BigDrago, please notify us immediately at support@bigdrago.bet. We will investigate all such reports promptly and take appropriate action.
